The first documents regarding the peace plan will be ready for signing as early as January, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated during a meeting with journalists on December 30.

"Out of our six documents, as I mentioned, the sixth is specifically the plan we are proposing for discussion, to outline changes and receive proposals from the US and the EU. All of this takes time. We suggest that advisors meet in January. We believe that the leaders of the EU, US, and Ukraine could also meet in January," the President said.

Zelenskyy confirmed his readiness to meet with Putin in any format. "The main thing is that the Russians shouldn't be afraid," he added. According to the President, a visit by Trump to Ukraine would be beneficial and provide an opportunity to count on a ceasefire.

Separately, Zelenskyy discussed the "Prosperous Ukraine" plan, which is being prepared jointly with the Americans. "This is about restoring jobs and restoring life in Ukraine. We have devoted a lot of attention to this, and President Trump is focused on it. He believes this is task number one—to have jobs in Ukraine," the President explained. According to him, the tripling of the average salary for Ukrainians was discussed. The White House plans to achieve Ukrainian prosperity through American businesses, for which special conditions will be created. Similar conditions are envisioned for Europeans.

Commenting on Trump's remarks that Putin wants to see Ukraine successful, Zelenskyy replied: "First of all, no one believes Putin. I don't know what he told President Trump; maybe he did say those words. But there is zero faith in those words. If success is defined by what he did in Bakhmut, Vovchansk, Chasiv Yar, or what he is doing in Pokrovsk now, then let them build that kind of 'success' back home in Russia."

The President also criticized India and the UAE for condemning an alleged Ukrainian strike on Putin’s residence, which he previously labeled a fake. "It causes misunderstanding and unpleasant feelings that some representatives, like India, the UAE, and a few other states, condemned our supposed drone strikes on Putin’s residence, which never happened. Where is their condemnation, by the way, of the constant strikes on our children and the killing of our people? I honestly don't hear anything from India or the UAE right now," Zelenskyy stated.

Regarding a referendum, the President noted that Russia does not want one to take place because it would require a ceasefire. Furthermore, a referendum would demonstrate the will of the Ukrainian people, preventing Russians from speculating on the topic of "illegitimacy."

Earlier, Zelenskyy reported that Ukraine continues daily work with American partners. On January 3, a meeting of the "Coalition of the Willing" will take place in Ukraine, and on January 6, the leaders of the coalition countries will meet in France. Zelenskyy also commented on the possibility of deploying American troops in Ukraine.
