The Defense Forces of Ukraine have carried out a series of powerful strikes against the enemy's strategic facilities both in occupied territories and deep within Russia. On the night of February 17, the Ilsky oil refinery and a Ka-27 naval helicopter in Crimea were among the primary targets.
The General Staff confirmed the successful hits, according to Hvylya. In Russia's Krasnodar Krai, the Ilsky refinery was attacked, resulting in a fire. The facility plays a critical role in supplying fuel to the occupying army, with a processing capacity of 6.6 million tons of oil per year.
"The Defense Forces of Ukraine will continue to systematically implement measures aimed at weakening the combat potential of the Russian aggressor," the General Staff stated.
Additionally, in the vicinity of Kamyshly in occupied Crimea, Ukrainian forces struck a Russian Ka-27 multi-purpose naval helicopter. The list of enemy losses also included other high-value targets. In the Zaporizhzhia region, troop concentrations were hit near Rozivka and Liubymivka, while logistics depots were destroyed in Donetsk and Lidyne. Furthermore, a communications hub belonging to the 127th Motorized Rifle Division was disabled in Zelenopil.
The Ukrainian military also focused on drone command centers. On February 16, three such facilities were struck: one in Anatolyevka in Russia's Kursk region, and two in the occupied parts of the Zaporizhzhia region near Huliaipole and Zatyshshia.
Intelligence services are currently clarifying the final scale of the destruction and personnel losses among the occupying forces. "The Defense Forces of Ukraine will continue to systematically strike targets that provide command and control, aviation support, and drone operations for the Russian aggressor. To be continued. Glory to Ukraine!" the General Staff emphasized.
