US President Donald Trump has announced he is raising additional tariffs on all countries from 10% to 15%.
As reported by "Hvylya", the President made the announcement via his account on the social network Truth Social.
The head of the White House noted that the US Supreme Court had previously issued an "absurd, poorly written, and extremely anti-American decision" regarding the tariffs implemented by his administration.
"I, as President of the United States of America, am immediately increasing the 10% Global Tariff on countries, many of which have been ripping off the United States with impunity for decades (until I came along!), to a fully authorized and legally vetted 15%," Trump stated.
The American leader added that over the next few months, his administration "will identify and impose new, legally permissible tariffs" to continue the process of restoring American greatness.
As a reminder, Trump previously signed an executive order imposing an additional 10% tariff, declaring it would take effect almost immediately, a move that sparked widespread debate within the global economy.
