In Ukraine, specific relaxations to curfew restrictions are being introduced in areas where an energy emergency has been declared. Citizens are now permitted to move through the streets during prohibited hours, but exclusively under strict conditions.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced the update, Hvylya reports.
Under the approved regulations, movement on foot or by vehicle during curfew is permitted solely for the purpose of reaching the nearest "Invincibility Point" or heating shelter. No special pass is required for such trips. However, identification checks remain rigorous.
"It is mandatory to carry a valid ID. During martial law, those subject to military service must also carry their military registration documents," the ministry emphasized.
Authorities are urging citizens to choose the shortest, safest route to their destination and strictly comply with patrol instructions. Officials noted that this mechanism mirrors protocols for air raid alerts: basic restrictions remain in place but are adapted to meet critical circumstances.
