Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov, an advisor to the Minister of Defense on technology, has warned of a new Russian tactic designed to bypass air defense systems.

According to "Hvylya", he announced this following a meeting with relevant commanders and specialists.

The expert noted that the enemy has begun employing manually controlled drones flying at ultra-low altitudes. These objects can fly just tens of meters above the ground, making them virtually invisible to traditional detection systems.

"One of the latest models flies at an ultra-low altitude under manual control. As seen in the video, this altitude can be mere tens of meters," Beskrestnov noted.

The primary danger is that airspace monitoring systems, such as "Virazh," may fail to detect these targets. Consequently, "Flash" urged units not to rely solely on electronics.

He recommended establishing remote visual and acoustic observation posts, as well as placing mobile and stationary defense groups on high alert.

"Even if 'Virazh' and other systems remain silent," the advisor emphasized.

Beskrestnov advised paying particular attention to terrain features that the enemy uses for stealthy approaches when organizing defenses. This includes riverbeds, flatlands, and long stretches of low-lying ground.

We previously reported that Russia has begun using Starlink terminals on "Shahed" drones.
