Russia is in a critical economic and military situation, forcing Putin to seek a way out of the war in the near future. The country's economy is entering recession, oil market forecasts are extremely negative, and the war is losing popularity among the population.

This was stated by retired Armed Forces of Ukraine officer Arty Green during a conversation with journalist Yuriy Romanenko on the latter's YouTube channel.

"The degree of exhaustion of Russian troops is extremely high. Without mobilization and tightening the screws from authoritarian to totalitarian, it's unlikely anything will work out. The war is losing popularity, the economy is entering recession," the expert noted.

According to him, paid analytical newsletters on the oil market give an extremely negative forecast for Russia for the next financial years. The only reason for the advancement of Russian troops is complete air superiority due to massive use of glide bombs.

"Putin really needs to lock in profits, as they say in business. Because later there will hardly be any profit. That is, he won't collapse or fall. But the profit may end," Arty Green emphasized.

The expert also pointed out that air superiority could quickly end if Ukraine receives modern F-16 block 70, long-range air-to-air missiles, and additional AWACS systems. In addition, the Chinese have already virtually buried the Russian automotive industry, and Putin faces economically difficult times ahead.

In the same broadcast, Arty Green spoke about the real situation on the front and explained why Russian troops cannot even take small cities like Pokrovsk.
