Ukraine has launched its first joint venture for drone production in Germany. President Volodymyr Zelensky personally visited the plant to accept the first manufactured strike drone.

The head of state announced the milestone during his visit to the production line. According to Hvylya, the project involves advanced Ukrainian technologies that have already been combat-tested. The new drones are equipped with artificial intelligence, capable of performing reconnaissance, conducting strikes, and protecting Ukrainian service members.

"Today, I received the first jointly produced strike drone. We saw the production line and the drone's inaugural flight," Zelensky noted.

The new enterprise is expected to deliver 10,000 such drones to the Ukrainian Defense Forces within this year alone.

The President emphasized that this is only the beginning of a large-scale collaboration. Plans are in place to open 10 more joint production facilities for Ukrainian drones by the end of the year.

Zelensky expressed his gratitude for the support of Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, and the German people, noting that Ukraine is ready to share its experience in protecting lives.
