President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced preparations for large-scale changes to the nation's air defense system and strategies for supplying the front lines.
As reported by "Hvylya", citing the Presidential Office, the announcement followed a meeting with the Commander-in-Chief, the Chief of the General Staff, and the Minister of Defense.

According to the President, operations regarding mobile fire groups and interceptor teams are being completely restructured in certain regions. While this primarily affects short-range air defense components, the planned changes extend beyond airspace protection.
"This also concerns control over supplying the front with drones, weapons, and, most importantly, personnel. People are the key issue: training and the actual replenishment of brigades. The Minister of Defense, together with the military command, is preparing appropriate decisions—measures that will strengthen Ukraine and solve existing problems," Zelensky stated.
He noted that it is premature to release specific details. The Ministry of Defense and the military will present the plans to the public once the decisions are fully finalized.
The Head of State also addressed the energy sector. The most difficult conditions regarding electricity supply remain in the Kharkiv, Poltava, and Sumy regions. Specific challenges have arisen in the southern Odesa region due to a high density of electrically heated homes combined with an anomalously cold winter.
The situation remains critical in the capital, where a significant number of homes lack heating. Zelensky sharply criticized local authorities for failing to provide complete reports on the extent of the problems.
"We analyzed such situations today in Kyiv, Okhtyrka, and Kryvyi Rih. Every community leader and all responsible services must pay real attention to what is happening with houses in their communities, with the grids, and with the implementation of mandatory decisions to help people. We are checking at all levels. Responsibility will be personal," the President emphasized.
Additionally, two major security events are expected this week: a meeting of partner countries' defense ministers and the Munich Security Conference. Ukraine anticipates new support packages and strengthened European unity.
