Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that the rising casualties among Russian occupation forces are a direct result of implementing the corps reform within the Ukrainian army.

As reported by "Hvylya", Syrskyi announced the update on social media.

According to the Commander-in-Chief, the transformation of the Defense Forces continues despite the complex situation on the front line. The corps have already been established and have achieved specific operational capabilities. The reform is currently in its second stage.

This phase involves redeploying brigades directly under their respective corps commands to improve control over their specific troop complements. Units are also being scaled up, primarily within the Unmanned Systems Forces. Syrskyi noted that in certain corps, UAV battalions are being reorganized into regiments, while the formation of artillery brigades within the corps structure has already been completed.

"The technological component is being strengthened, particularly the use of ground unmanned systems for logistics and medical evacuation, which reduces the burden on personnel and, consequently, our losses," the general emphasized.

Over 36,000 service members were transferred during the formation of these new structures. These personnel have become the foundation of the command bodies and units comprising the corps.

"The transition to the corps system has allowed us to offload the command system and significantly improved troop manageability," Syrskyi concluded, adding that this has enabled more effective planning and execution of combat missions.
