Ukraine’s Defense Forces are continuing to methodically dismantle the occupiers' military capabilities, both in seized territories and deep within the enemy’s rear. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine officially confirmed successful strikes on several key targets, including the strategic Kapustin Yar test site in Russia.
According to the military, a Russian logistics depot was struck on the night of February 8. The facility was located near temporarily occupied Rozivka in the Zaporizhzhia region. Additionally, Ukrainian defenders targeted a troop concentration area near the settlement of Krasnohirske in Zaporizhzhia the previous day.
Furthermore, an enemy drone command post was destroyed near Novoekonomichne in the Donetsk region.
The General Staff paid particular attention to the aftermath of the attack on the Russian Kapustin Yar test site in the Astrakhan region. Intelligence confirmed significant damage to infrastructure used for missile systems.
"Following previous strikes on the Russian Ministry of Defense's Kapustin Yar State Central Inter-specific Range, damage to a maintenance facility for medium-range ballistic missiles, an assembly building, and a logistics warehouse has been confirmed," the General Staff said in a statement.
Final enemy losses in manpower and equipment are currently being verified. The command assured that the Defense Forces will continue to "systematically execute operations aimed at weakening the Russian aggressor's offensive capabilities and degrading its combat potential."
As a reminder, throughout January, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the Russian Kapustin Yar missile test site using FP-5 "Flamingo" cruise missiles manufactured by Fire Point.
