Russian forces have launched a strike on civilians in the Dnipropetrovsk region. In the city of Ternivka, Pavlohrad district, a Russian drone attacked a DTEK Pavlohradcoal bus transporting miners home after their shift.

DTEK has officially confirmed that 13 employees were killed and another eight miners were wounded.

Meanwhile, monitoring channels, citing volunteer Kucher, have reported a higher death toll: "A DTEK Pavlohradcoal bus carrying miners was hit by an enemy strike. There are already 15 dead."

The National Police and the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration initially reported 12 killed and seven injured. Oleksandr Hanzha from the administration provided details of the strike: "The enemy struck near a company bus in the Pavlohrad district with a UAV. According to preliminary information, 12 people died and another seven were injured. We are clarifying the details."

DTEK emphasized that the strike deliberately targeted energy workers: "Russia has carried out a large-scale terrorist attack on DTEK mines in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The epicenter of one of the attacks was a staff bus transporting miners from the facility after their shift."

Law enforcement officials are treating Russia's actions as a war crime. The bus burned down as a result of the strike; investigative teams, rescuers, and medics are currently working at the scene.
