The Security Service of Ukraine dealt a powerful blow to Russian military infrastructure in temporarily occupied Crimea.
As reported by "Hvylya," the SBU press service announced this.
Last night, long-range drones of the SBU Special Operations Center "Alpha" successfully struck components of Russian air defense at the Belbek military airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea.
As a result of the night special operation, occupiers' equipment worth hundreds of millions of dollars was destroyed and damaged:
- two "Nebo-SVU" long-range radar detection systems (price of one unit – approximately $60-100 million);
- 92N6 radar, a component of the S-400 "Triumph" surface-to-air missile system (estimated domestic market price $30 million, export price - $60 million);
- "Pantsir-S2" surface-to-air missile system (estimated domestic market price $12 million, export price – $19 million);
- MiG-31 aircraft with full ammunition load (estimated price - $30-50 million depending on configuration and armament).
"The SBU continues effective work on destroying air defense systems in Crimea that protect important military and logistics facilities of the occupiers. The elimination of components of this layered system significantly weakens the defense and military capabilities of the enemy in the Crimean direction," the statement reads.
