Ukrainian border control points have received a letter prohibiting the former Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, from leaving the country.

The news was reported by Member of Parliament Oleksiy Goncharenko, as cited by Hvylya.

Goncharenko noted that, according to his information, the restriction is based on a corresponding request from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).

The MP emphasized that this entire situation is a "textbook case."

"First, you actively join the building of a man-eating system where people are hunted on the streets, where part of society is forbidden from crossing the border, where human rights protection mechanisms are paralyzed, and where everything is done manually and/or for black cash. And then you yourself fall into its millstones. Frankenstein has come for one of the two parents," Goncharenko stressed.

It should be noted that on November 28, NABU and SAP (Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office) employees conducted searches at Yermak's residence. They stated that the investigative actions were sanctioned and carried out as part of an ongoing investigation.

On the same day, in his video address, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Yermak had submitted a letter of resignation. Following this, the head of state dismissed Yermak from the post of Head of the Presidential Office by decree.

Commenting on his dismissal, Yermak stated that he would continue to consider Zelensky a friend. He noted that his delegation to the negotiations with the United States had managed to ensure that a "28-point document," which contained Russia's demands for the "surrender" of territories and renunciation of NATO, "no longer existed." Yermak also claimed that "several difficult points remain," but Zelensky "will not sign anything that contradicts the interests of Ukraine."

In addition to this, Yermak announced his intention to go to the front line.
